Biography
Vanessa provides the strategic direction, planning and leadership for the Communications and External Relations section, and activity covered by Communications and External Relations (CER) more widely for the whole University. Before joining Essex she worked in communications and marketing, policy and strategy roles in Lottery funding, local and central government and for the National Union of Students. She is married with a son.
