Profile
Biography
I work primarily at the intersection of phonetics, psycholinguistics, and computing, but also address questions in morphology, historical linguistics, and Germanic. My research covers a variety of languages and language families, but my main focus is on the South Asian region. In this work I aim to understand the structure and evolution of speech systems, linking the low-level articulatory, acoustic and auditory structures in speech with the higher-level word structures the system must encode.
