Thesis

"Climate Change Misinformation"

My PhD examines how corporations, political decision makers, and the general public are affected by climate change misinformation. What effect does the regulation of media platforms have on climate misinformation? Does spreading misinformation have consequences for corporations who seek to adhere to environmental regulation, or adopt ESG practices? My findings will shed light on how exposure to misinformation determines the effectiveness of environmental policy.
