Biography
Dr. Shabnam Sagar, Ph.D. is Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, School of Health & Social Care, University of Essex. Shabnam holds dual NMC registration in adult nursing and Mental Health Nursing with extensive experience as a Nurse Educator and registered nurse in clinical practice in diverse clinical areas. Shabnam is a passionate, dynamic, and innovative educator and a researcher. Shabnam brings global experience as a Nurse educator from India. • Regional Secretary (North-West region, Nurses League) for Christian Medical Association of India, C.M.A.I. (2011-2013) • Public Relation Officer to Health Minister, Punjab, India (2009-2012) Active Memberships o The Trained Nurses’ Association of India o Alumni Association of College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital o Indian Society of Psychiatric Nurses o Christian Medical Association of India o Royal College of Nursing, England Accolades: Shortlisted for National award (Care Registered Nurse Category) in November 2020.
