Biography

Anna Sarkisyan is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Banking and Finance at Essex Business School. She is an Academic Fellow at the Centre for Responsible Banking & Finance at the University of St Andrews and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Anna’s research is concentrated in the area of empirical banking and finance, with a particular focus on securitisation and corporate governance. She has published in the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Corporate Finance, European Journal of Finance, European Financial Management, and the European Central Bank Working Paper Series. She has also contributed to the 2nd and 3rd editions of the Oxford Handbook of Banking. In 2010, Anna was awarded a European Central Bank Lamfalussy Fellowship.
