Profile
Biography
My academic background and work experience has been on the teaching of language(s), always exploring engaging methods of practice, trying to bridge theory and practice. During my doctoral studies at Essex, I investigated language teachers' emotions while enacting game-informed pedagogies. I have published in conferences related to learning and games and am an advocate of good teaching (and learning) via games as an active, participatory, and socio-emotional building pedagogy. My research interests include the psychology of language learning and teaching, qualitative methods, Action Research, (critical) Positive Psychology, and game-based language teaching.
