Biography

Dr. Sayit is a Lecturer-Researcher at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at University of Essex. Prior to this, after working as an Assistant Professor at the International Computer Institute at Ege University in Turkiye, she started serving as an Associate Professor in 2017 at the same university. Her research interests include multimedia streaming, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, and Next Generation Networks. Dr. Sayit actively contributes to the field as a member of the IEEE P1916.1 Standard for Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization Performance group. She has been working as a researcher in various R&D projects. Furthermore, she has lent her expertise to numerous international workshops and conferences, serving as an Organizing Committee member.
