Profile

Biography

I am lecturer in the Government Department at the University of Essex. Previously, I was post-doctoral researcher at Anglia Ruskin University. I hold a PhD in Ideology and Discourse Analysis from the University of Essex and I am a member of the Centre for Ideology and Discourse Analysis. My research focuses on theories of political subjectivation and critique in Michel Foucault’s thought. Her current interests revolve around ideas of care, the politics of health and counter-hegemonic practices.
