Biography
Dr Dragana Vidovic is a Senior Research Officer with the Connected Communities Project, Department of Government, University of Essex, United Kingdom. Connected Communities is a social prescribing initiative being implemented in the UK and France, in collaboration with Local Authority Organisations and the University of Essex. She completed her Doctorate Degree in politics at the University of Essex in 2018. Prior to that, she worked at the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Center for Twin and Family Research (MCTFR) and studied psychology at the College of Saint Benedict, USA. Her current research focuses on issues of loneliness, its impact on wellbeing and civic and political participation. She is currently working on evaluating the impact of Connected Communities on health and wellbeing. Her other research is in the area of nonviolent and violent conflict analysis.
