Biography
Dr Wenjuan Zeng is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at the University of Essex, Essex Business School. She completed her PhD at Cardiff Business School in 2022. Wenjuan's research interests cover two primary areas, 1. Operations and Supply Chain Management and 2. Technology Management. Majority of her research integrate these two topics and focused on the application, capability development, and/or impact of digital technologies in operations and supply chain quality management. Wenjuan has been proactive in securing research funding to advance her work in these areas. In this project, she collaborated with a leading UK technology company to explore process developments that integrate the new European Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations into their business model. To conduct her research, Wenjuan utilised a range of methodologies, such as surveys, scenario-based experiment, case studies, fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA), Joint Sentiment-Topic (JST) analysis, and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling. Dr. Zeng’s research contributions are published in prominent academic journals, including Production Planning & Control, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.
