Profile
Biography
Udichibarna Bose is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance at the Essex Business School. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and her research interest lies in the areas of international economics, corporate and sustainable finance, emerging market finance and banking. She is currently on the editorial board of the International Journal of Finance & Economics. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Glasgow and was awarded the Adam Smith Business School Prize for PhD Excellence. Prior to that, she earned her Master's degree in Economics from the University of Essex and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. She has received several research grants from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) and the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). She welcomes inquiries from potential PhD students.
