Our first ever Careers Fest is happening from 28-30 September, and if you’re a final year student or a graduate from 2020 or 2021, you don’t want to miss out.
In the festival line up, the careers team will host three afternoon workshops which are ideal for tuning in on your lunch break. They’ll prep you on the use of LinkedIn, support you with how to network and develop your commercial awareness, and host drop-in sessions for you to talk to the experts.
We’ll also hear from four Essex graduates who will help inspire you as you take your next steps. Dan and Anca will share their career experiences so far. Dan is in a completely different career to what he expected and loves it, and Anca has worked overseas and undertaken internships. The following evening, Amy is on a graduate scheme and will share her experience so far while Sharon will chat about her experience of assessment centres and psychometric tests.
The festival will end with Career Conversations, an alumni/student networking event allowing you to connect with Essex graduates from a range of industries, hear about their experiences and get first-hand advice and guidance.
All sessions will be held via Zoom. You can join as many sessions as you like, just make sure to register to receive the Zoom link.
