Speech, Language and Communication Enrichment in Children

Supporting the early identification of and intervention for children with speech, language and communication delays and disorders, offering speech, language and communication enhancement to pre-schoolers, and school aged children, as well as support to their parents. This clinic will focus on supporting children with special education needs and disabilities on how best to facilitate language and communication.

Outreach work will include working in Schools supporting and training teaching and teaching support staff on how best to identify language difficulties, and support language in the classroom.

Communication partner training

Offering communication partner training and support with communication access as an outreach service, e.g. training staff in care homes and healthcare settings, family members, supporting organisations with communication access. We will explore in-person training in community and healthcare settings and also training delivered via telehealth. Service users would be involved in the planning and training.
