Our Access and Participation Plan

• recruiting students nationally with the merit and potential to take full advantage of the educational opportunities offered by our University, irrespective of socio-economic background or ability to pay, and improving access for students from under-represented groups

• increasing retention and progression, and improving attainment for students from lower socio-economic groups and ethnic minorities 

• increasing student levels of achievement and ensuring the mechanisms to educate our students increase their prospects of securing a good degree

• supporting our students to achieve their aspirations in terms of both further study and employment
