Community Supermarkets at Essex: sustainable community assets for social support and care

Research and evaluation of the practices and impact of the two first Community Supermarkets at Essex in Jaywick and Laindon as part of the Essex County Council’s levelling up agenda. In collaboration with Essex County Council and Feeding Britain, our research assesses the potential of community-based forms of welfare provisioning in dealing with food and health inequalities, as well as fostering community resilience.
