Overview

Our Further Studies Preparation Programme for students in Years 10-11 covers six exciting topics to give you the confidence you need to succeed.

This course will provide you with information and tips to consider when making future study choices, easing any uncertainty you may have about life after Year 11 and helping you to become a more confident and effective learner.

• Useful life skills for now and in the future

How to enrol

Sign-up for the Further Studies Preparation Programme in a few simple steps:

• Register with Open Essex. Follow the step-by-step instructions and remember to keep your username and password somewhere safe;
• Check your inbox. Authorise your Open Essex account using the link provided in the sign-up email;
• Enrol on the Further Studies Preparation Programme. Log into Open Essex and press ‘enrol me';
• You're ready to roll! Work your way through each module in your own time. Once you've completed all six, you'll have access to a downloadable certificate of achievement!
• If you want to prepare for Higher Education but are not in Year 10 or 11, why not try out our University Preparation Programme?
