If you love football...

Our men’s and women’s teams compete in BUCS inter-university competitions. As we begin a new chapter building on the success of past seasons, we’re looking to improve performance across;

For the 2022-23 season, we accomplished;

  • Derby Day double wins in 2022 and 2023
  • Women’s BUCS South Eastern Tier 1 title and consequent promotion to the BUCS Premier South Division
  • Men’s team competing in the South Eastern 1A

In the 2023 season, our women's football team were runners-up in the BUCS Premier South League and quarter-finalists in the BUCS National Championships.

FA Women’s Football High Performance Centre

We are proud to say we are one of just of a handful of locations throughout the UK to be a Women's High Performance Football Centre in partnership with the Football Association (FA) drawing talent from Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Our aim is to improve the quality and quantity of coaches working in the women and girl's game, especially those working in the FA Talent Pathway and Women's National League. Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on football coaching experience, including work placements in coaching sport science and sports therapy to boost employability, laying the groundwork for careers in women's football.
