| 17 June - 20 December 2024 | South Courts | Installation of solar panels. Some noise expected from impact drivers during erection and dismantlement of scaffolding. Isolations of power and hot water will be communicated to residents ahead of time. |
| Ongoing | The Hex | Repair works to the concrete of the Hex building. Access across, to, and under the Hex will not be impacted, however the perimeter will be closed off one side at a time. |
| 02 - 25 November 2024 | Square 3/4 steps | Scaffolding on the steps will create a tunnel. A high-level enclosed platform with debris netting will be above the tunnel, allowing works to be undertaken above pedestrian traffic on the steps. Pedestrians will be able to walk through this tunnel when the scaffold structure has been built. Scaffolding will be removed 23-25 November, with noisy works undertaken at the weekend. |
| 04 November 2024 - 28 February 2025 | All areas | Fitting of tap restrictors to all hand basins across campus in academic and accommodation areas. One basin will be worked on at a time, with each fitting taking a few minutes. Female and accessible facilities will be temporarily closed while male operators are at work. |
| 18 November -01 December 2024 | Psychology building | Tactile paving works to the external steps from Boundary Road up to square 1 outside the Psychology building. The steps will be out of use during this time - please use the Psychology lifts accessible from the under podia level. |

Valley Road crossing | Tactile paving works to the Valley Road pedestrian crossing. The crossing will be closed during this time, however an alternative pedestrian crossing will be created close by. No access restrictions to the road are expected. |
| 18 - 22 November 2024 | Square 2 / Network Building Bridge | There will be inspection works carried out to the handrail of the bridge. |
| 18 - 29 November 2024 | Square 2 / Network Bridge | The bridge between Square 2 and the Network building will be closed for maintenance between these dates. There is not expected to be any noise disturbance and step free access will still be available through the STEM building. |
| 23 - 24 November 2024 | Under Podia / plant rooms | Gas inspections will be taking place on these dates. This will involve working at height Under Podia using lift equipment and accessing plant rooms across campus. |
| 25 November - 06 December 2024 | Multi Deck Car Park | Level 2 lighting change -there will be no parking available on this level during works and a one-way system be be in operation. |
| 25 November - 15 December 2024 | Sports Pavilion | Low-level drainage works around the Sports Pavilion. |
| 09 - 20 December 2024 | Boundary Road | Footpath works between the Wivenhoe entrance to campus and Park Road. |
| 14 December 2024 | Essex Business School | Building will be closed to all staff and student on 14 December 2024 for essential electrical works. |
| 16 December 2024 | Essex Business School | Closure of the main entrance due to proximity to essential tree maintenance. Please make use of the automatic rear door during works - signage will be in place to direct pedestrians. |
| 10 February - 07 March 2025 | Lecture Theatre Building | The lift in this building will be out of service for essential control and equipment upgrades |
| 10 March - 04 April 2025 | Life Science Building | The L83 lift will be out of service for essential control and equipment upgrades. Please use the L4 lift within this building as an alternative route |
