Breaking Barriers
Breaking Barriers is our career exploration programme for students who are first in their family to go to university or from low-income households.
Starting with four fun community-building opportunities with other students from similar backgrounds in the Autumn Term, you’ll then be invited to join creative team challenges to share your strengths in the Spring Term. The programme will support you to know your potential, have a space where your voice is heard and a create a community to knock down the barriers that could hold you back.
The programme will lead onto an individual employer-based challenge from the Summer 2024. We’ll be breaking down barriers with you every step of the way – financial, practical and emotional – to ensure you have the confidence and resource you need to thrive.
