The Examinations Office is part of the Assessment Team in Academic Services. We are responsible for the coordination and management of the University's examination requirements at our Colchester and Southend Campus.

Our office :

• administers central examinations in accordance with the University's requirements
• prepares examination timetables
• sets up and administer the examinations halls
• seeks to ensure complete accuracy in the preparation of examinations and papers
• administers the arrangements for students with agreed individual exam needs

Please note that the Exams Office does not deal with results queries. Please email these to the Exam Boards team at examboards@essex.ac.uk.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5pm (usually 8am to 5pm during exam periods).

Location

LTB 4 during the Early, Summer or Resit exam periods and 6.101 during the Essex Abroad and Christmas Vacation exam periods. Outside of these times, please email or call with your query or request, as our office is not able to deal with walk-in visitors
