Student Money Funding and Financial Support Refugee bursary

Refugee bursary

The Refugee Bursary for 2024-2025 will open in the month of November.

If you're a student with UK refugee status, or a dependant of UK refugees, you may be eligible for a bursary of up to £1500 if you are studying full time or up to £750 if you are studying part time.

The bursary will open after the first term.

How to apply

  1. Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria detailed in the terms and conditions below
  2. Carefully read the guidance notes
  3. Register for the Blackbullion online money management website
  4. Click the ‘Funding’ tab and select ‘UoE Refugee Bursary’
  5. Submit your signed declaration form and supporting evidence

Note: your application will not be assessed until we receive a full and complete declaration form, including all evidence necessary to complete an assessment.
