"Travelling definitely gave me a different perspective on life. Life’s not as bad as you think it is. And there is always a beach!"

I went travelling around Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and Bali. I’m proud that I saved up all of my money and went to the other side of the world for a total of 6 months. I’m proud that I didn’t use my parents for money, so I spent 8 months working as a waitress.

The main struggle was that you are surrounded by people 24/7. Both the people that I went travelling with I did like, but you do get annoyed with them quite often! Travelling definitely gave me and different perspective on life. Life’s not as bad as you think it is. And there is always a beach!

My motto is really cheesy, but just be happy all of the time, because there isn’t enough time in life to be sad. If I could give myself advice a year ago, I would say just be happy with yourself. After uni I just want to travel again. There are more places I want to go and it’s so exciting. If you ever get the chance to go – go!
