"I'd love to be able to repay her one day."

I’m really homesick and I miss my friends from back home, so I’ve spent a lot of time talking to them. I want to change that though and meet new people here. I have a black belt in Karate so I was wondering if the Students’ Union or the sports centre runs anything similar. Taekwondo would be good. I’m going to go up there soon and find out. 

It’s hard being away from my Mum too. She’s my role model. I’d love to be able to repay her one day because she's done so much for me.

I aspire to work for an airline when I graduate, and airlines back home in Jordan often give free tickets to their employees. I would take my Mum with me and travel to Europe because she loves the culture there. We’ve visited a couple of European countries together already like France, Italy and Austria. She would love to go back to Vienna so I’d take her there, and also to Paris because she would enjoy that.  

In the meantime I’m looking forward to summer. Between June and October I’ll have four months of sunshine back home in Jordan. It’s very cold here so I can’t wait for some warmth and sunshine again when I get back home!
