We're built on sustainable foundations. Our Colchester home is the UK's first zero carbon business school building.
Its design reflects our commitment to responsible business practice in both our teaching and research. More than one tonne of carbon is saved per day through the building’s energy efficient design and low carbon technologies.
The stunning winter garden brings the outside indoors and creates a space that people can use all year round. The garden is designed to be a positive place for mental well-being, and the plants themselves help to regulate air quality.
Our students benefit from a practical education in finance with our state of the art Bloomberg Trading Floor. Students can access real financial data in almost real time to help them build company profiles for their project work as well as experiencing how to execute trades and terminal commands.
Our Colchester building is less than a ten minute walk to the University library and the Silberrad Student Centre. We're also close to a range of student accommodation, such as The Copse, North Towers, The Meadows, The Houses and The Quays. Buses to Colchester city centre and train station run regularly from the stop directly behind the building, with London just over an hour away by train.
