Graduation 2018 - a week of wonderful celebration

What an amazing week! Graduation 2018 was the biggest graduation the University has ever held and it was the first time the event increased to 15 degree ceremonies over five days.

Our distinguished Honorary Graduates joined 3,730 students and 7,600 guests for the highlight of the University’s calendar.

Presiding over his first graduation ceremonies at Essex, our new Chancellor the Rt Hon John Bercow MP spoke of his pride about his role at Essex, where he graduated in 1985.
