The IT Training and Customer Support team is the front face of Digital Innovation and Technology Services (DITS), providing support, training and communications to staff, students, guests and alumni about our IT services.
We provide:
Audio visual systems, print systems and desktop IT is managed by our Learning Environments and Technology Systems (LETS) team.
The LETS team provide supporting services for teaching and learning across the University in seminar rooms, lecture theatres and open study spaces. We also support and deploy large-scale IT to staff offices, homes and hot-desking environments. We are responsible for Managed Print services across the university, especially in student facing areas where the paper and toner is always monitored and topped up. We provide IT and audio visual support to all core events.
The Media Centre offers a wide range of digital multimedia services, facilities and expertise to both students and staff.
Our services include video production, podcast production, 360o virtual tours and photography. We also have licensed CAA remote pilots for aerial (drone) photography and video.
We have a full HD broadcast quality TV studio, a radio studio and two additional studio spaces that can be booked by all members of staff and students. Many of our facilities are free of charge to hire, however, there are recharges if you require our content creators to produce projects.
