"My PhD journey has been thoroughly enjoyable across all aspects. The University of Essex boasts a strong research culture, and you'll be working with highly dedicated and approachable academics who provide expert support for your studies. Particularly rewarding has been the opportunity to directly apply different theories and concepts to my research area. The University offers a wealth of internal and external training and professional development opportunities. I've gained valuable experience by presenting and chairing at the annual OSHRM PhD Student Conference, attending a two-week summer school relevant to my research, and I'm due to present at an upcoming international conference at the University of Warwick."
