Engaging young people passionate about events and hospitality

We provide informative and engaging sessions both on campus and at your institution, as well as talk about higher education future students.

At Edge Hotel School, we want to encourage young learners considering their next steps in education to learn more about the event and hospitality industries, and how a degree from the Edge Hotel School can give their career a kick-start. We are able to provide informative and engaging activities for students that explore our industry, provide more detail on the Edge Hotel School's curriculum and demonstrate why our offering is so unique within Higher Education.

We are able to visit your institution and deliver interactive taster sessions, speak to students about Higher Education opportunities and where a hospitality degree can take them, as well as plan a visit day to our Colchester campus where students can see our facilities, meet our academics and experience being a University of Essex student.

If you are interested in arranging anything, please contact our Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer Farirai Manangazira.

Our sessions

Below are some of the activities that we can organise and deliver for your organisation. Our sessions are primarily directed at those who are considering their next steps in their academic journey and may be interested in attending university.

With prior notice, our academics are happy to deliver sessions that complement the current curriculum for your students, developed in collaboration with and with guidance from Schools.

We are also available to attend Higher Education and careers fairs, deliver talks on Higher Education, student finance and applying to university and anything else to help students prepare for university.
