How to apply

We will identify eligible students. If you are eligible to receive this bursary, you will be contacted via your Essex email account.

Key dates for courses starting in September/October of the autumn term of the academic year 2024-25:

• You will be contacted by the end of the Autumn term with instructions on how to submit evidence of your International Health Surcharge costs to claim the bursary.
• The deadline for making a claim is 30 April 2025.
• The bursary will be paid in June 2025

Key dates for courses starting in January of the spring term of academic year 2024-25

• You will be contacted by the end of the Spring term with instructions on how to submit evidence of your International Health Surcharge costs to claim the bursary.
• Deadline for making a claim is 30 September 2025

The bursary will be paid in November 2025
