If you're an international student from one of the above countries and you're funding your own studies, you could be eligible for a scholarship, which you'll receive as a tuition fee discount.

Country Scholarship amount
Brunei; Cambodia; East Timor; Laos; Malaysia; Myanmar; The Philippines; Singapore; Taiwan; Thailand*  £3,000 for the first year of study (Year 1) 
Indonesia; Vietnam  £4,000 for each year of study (maximum 3 years)

How to apply

If you meet all the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered for this award. You don’t need to complete an application form. The University will assess your eligibility based on your country of domicile and fee status that you submit on your application for your place at Essex.
