Department of Sociology and Criminology

The Department of Sociology and Criminology is offering scholarships of £10,500 to support six postgraduate students to study within the department in 2025-2026. Priority will be given to students applying to study MA Policing or MSC Policing and Data Analytics, however, applicants applying for any MSc/MA course within Sociology and Criminology are welcome to apply.

We have been extremely fortunate to offer these scholarships award due to the kind donation from Miss J.H. Fuller, who wished to support students through their studies within the Sociology and Criminology Department.

How to apply

You can apply for the award by completing an application form (.docx) and submitting it to our Sociology and Criminology PGT Administrator - socpgtad@essex.ac.uk

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Friday 30 May 2025.
