Our adult neuro-rehabilitation services are available to those with an existing neurological condition, to maximise function, independence and communication skills.

We can offer speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy assessment and intervention in both face to face and online clinics, to maximise the accessibility of our services.

Face to face or online sessions include one-to-one therapy or group therapy and offer a tailored approach to service users’ needs. The Hub can provide a variety of specialist equipment and resources within your rehabilitation and the team is focused on offering innovative and personalised care to our users. Come along and try out our current specialist equipment.

Our MOTOmed bike offers movement therapy for people with movement restrictions and enables users to exercise while seated in a wheelchair or from a chair. You can also try out a large variety of Saebo equipment, under the guidance of our therapy team.

We also have fun and engaging rehabilitation tools such as the BlazePod Flash reflex training system, designed to help you combine physical and cognitive exercises into your therapy programme. We are so excited about the new arrival of our Strolll Augmented reality headsets and will be running Parkinson’s support groups to trial this state-of-the-art technology.

Please note that we do not have access to hoisting or changing facilities on site but we can provide accessible parking and accessible toilets.

Where a high number of referrals are received, a clinical priority and waiting list system will be implemented.

To access this service, please complete our adult referral form and email to healthwellbeingcare@essex.acx.uk and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your referral.

Within your referral please indicate which of our neurorehabilitation services you would like to access. If you are not sure which is the best service for you, just tell us about your needs and we can decide which service may suit you best.
