Catering outlet environment hazards

The main risks to employees working in catering outlets are slips and trips, contact dermatitis and accidents when lifting and carrying. It is also important that kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained in a safe condition.

Incidents and near-misses must be reported to Health and Safety in a timely manner.
