The Estate Management Health and Safety team provides guidance, coaching, advice and instruction to enable all staff within Estate Management to carry out their own health and Safety responsibilities, especially those with contractor management responsibility.

University of Essex now operates an E-Permit system for contractors carrying out work on-site. Please register using the button below using the following template:-
Following the registration of the above details, users will receive their login details to the E-Permit system. After receiving login details, users will be able to click on the link below to apply to work on site.
Please note, applications will only be entertained if 3 working days’ notice is given and an appropriate Risk Assessment and Method Statement is attached to the application Users must read the applicable section in the ‘Permit to Work Manual’ before writing their RA/MS.’
