The Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Staff Forum is a community group made up of staff (including academic staff, professional services and PhD students) who identify as BAME/POC.

An informal termly meeting of those who either currently work on committees or groups, or deal with the administration of committees or groups in some way.

The EAF is a discussion forum and consultation body working to support excellence in all aspects of physical and non-physical access at Essex.

The Essex LGBTQ+ Alliance is a network of Essex-based organisations sharing resources and best practice for the benefit of everyone in the workplace.

The Essex Women’s Network is open to all staff who work at our University and also to PhD students.

The Global Forum is a staff-led network which promotes, celebrates and emphasises the rich cultural diversity among Essex staff.

The Information Champions Network is made up of volunteers from across the University, known as Information Champions.

Our LGBTQ+ Allies are a group of staff committed to ensuring that the University’s workplace is an inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly environment.

The University’s LGBTQ+ and allies community promotes good practice and ensures our LGBTQ+ community are listened to and supported.

Our LGBTQ+ Forum are a group of LGBTQ staff committed to supporting one another and consulting on LGBTQ+ matters within the University.
