In September 2023, Event Essex arranged bespoke catering, accommodation, and a dinner reception at Wivenhoe House Hotel for over 100 delegates. The two-day event included tutorials, workshops, and research presentations with Event Essex staff receiving a huge thank you and being commended for their “outstanding professionalism”.
In July 2023, the zero-carbon Essex Business School, with its winter garden of palm trees, was the perfect environment for over 300 scientists from 27 countries to discuss climate change and its impact on aquatic habitats.
Post-talk events included an icebreaker in the beautiful Wivenhoe House Hotel, a poster, quiz and movie night in the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall, a BBQ by the lake, and a stunning off-site banquet in Prested Hall. The symposium was a resounding success with feedback siting, “Event Essex go above the call of duty and display incredible professionalism.”
