Buffalo Joe's

buffalo-joe-essex-cateringA firm favourite with students Buffalo Joe's is located on Square 4 between entrances 4SE and 4SW.

Our new menu now offers 100% British beef smashed and seared burgers, vegan and vegetarian burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries, and all your favourite sides including curly fries, onion rings, and mozzarella dippers.

Eat in and listen to MTV or watch your favourite sport, or takeaway the freshest food cooked to order by our team of chefs. Outside seating is also available.

During Summer School season, Buffalo Joe's will also be serving breakfast.

  • Dinner - 5.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday 1 July to Sunday 7 July

Important information during Summer School season

Customers visiting our outlets may experience longer wait times due to Summer Schools on campus. It is advised that you try to avoid peak service times where possible. Peak times to avoid are between:

  • Breakfast: 7.30am to 9.15am
  • Lunch: 12.15pm to 2.15pm
  • Dinner: 5.30pm to 8.00pm

Menus may vary due to demand, and to accommodate large numbers on campus. It is recommended that you check menus in outlets, including allergen information.

To make sure everyone has access to affordable hot food options, some of our outlets provide a hot meal each day for only £2. Menus are subject to availability and may be subject to change due to demand or supply.
