Evaluations are research projects that involve the collection of quantitative, qualitative, or mixed datasets to provide insight into specific issues.

They vary in size, sector, and scope and can support partner clients from all sectors at a local, regional, and national level.

Evaluations can be used to assess the impact of a programme, intervention, or organisation. The analysis of the data collected may inform a new strategy or initiative, assist with the design of a pilot scheme, or influence policy and practice.

At the University, our Evaluation Services offer partner clients access to Essex’s community of researchers who are experts in designing responsive evaluation projects, tailormade to their needs.
