Should you need to travel by car, there are public car parks underneath University Square student accommodation (College Way) and underneath South Essex College (Luker Way).

Sainsbury's, Southend, SS1
Parking can be booked through the YourParkingSpace website or app.
You need to select hourly parking (not monthly) and search for 'Southend-on-Sea' to find the relevant car park (known as Sainsbury's, Southend, SS1, Southend-on-Sea' on the app).
Parking costs £5.15 for all-day parking.
Upon arrival at the car park, please note that you can only park on the roof and not on the lower level, under cover.
The new Southend Pass is useful for students who only attend campus for a short period of time (eg for lectures). You can sign-up for one, three or 12-month periods.
For £12.50 per month, you can park for up to 3 hours at a time, in council-operated car parks and in pay-by-phone/pay and display on-street parking bays across the city, with the option to pay for additional time after the 3 hours runs out. Download the app.
