The Student Development team provides a focal point for leadership and oversight for initiatives and activities in support of individual student development across the student lifecycle. The team works closely in partnership with Departments and Faculties to ensure we have in place the best possible opportunities, advice and activities both within and alongside our students’ studies as our students make the transition into and through their educational experience, enabling them to have the study skills and wider personal development opportunities they need to succeed and progress into the next stage of their lives and career.

The team is also responsible for the development of the innovation and enterprise offer and support.
Our Faculty Coordination team is responsible for the delivery of embedded careers development learning and careers guidance across all departments, and works closely with Faculties to ensure that there is a strategic approach to employability and careers related initiatives across all departments to support excellent graduate prospects.
Our Careers Services team develops and delivers professional and proactive careers services to support our students and graduates, including employability information and advice, development of extra-curricular opportunities to support the development of skills and experience, delivery of events (e.g. job markets, recruitment fairs) and projects and initiatives to support graduate outcomes.
