Qualtrics - for creating advanced surveys requiring complex data analysis. Recommended for researchers.

Microsoft Forms

Use Microsoft Forms to easily create online surveys, forms, quizzes and questionnaires. Forms is recommended for surveys that don't require complex data analysis.

Qualtrics

Qualtrics is a powerful online survey tool for research purposes only.

Use Qualtrics to create surveys, distribute surveys, and analyse responses. This is ideal for more complex data analysis – allowing you to filter, classify, merge, clean, and statistically analyse your response data.

You must always sign in to Qualtrics with your Essex account using the web address essex.eu.qualtrics.com to avoid creating duplicate accounts. If you think you've created a duplicate account, please contact our Commercial Applications team.
