The Maintenance team is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the University buildings including:
The Maintenance team works within the policies, procedures, and legislative frameworks and to generic and job-specific risk assessments and method statements.
Our in-house trade teams carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections across campus. All our trades have the relevant required qualifications and training and regularly upskill with additional training.
The Compliance and Asset team carries out maintenance, repairs, and inspections using measured-term-contract and specialist-contract labour including:
The Capital Development team carry out the planning, design and supervision of major building contracts for the university, as well as supervision of all health and safety issues for the work of Estate Management as a whole.
The Space Planning team carry out the planning, design and supervision of refurbishments within the existing University estate, ranging from room refurbishments to re-imagining whole departments as they grow and expand.
