There are a range of development opportunities for all researchers at Essex. These are aligned to our institutional Researcher Development Framework (RDF) which has been developed with input from researchers across our community to provide a through career focal point for our researchers and support the delivery of our strategic ambitions.
Our RDF is also underpinned by Vitae’s Researcher Development Framework and our commitment to support all researchers is signalled by our commitment to both the HR Excellence in Research Award and Concordat to support the career development of researchers.
Look at the sections below to find out more about the four core areas of research practice in the RDF and see what support and resources are available.
This area of the RDF is focussed towards the core skills that will enhance your research throughout your career, as well as an orientation to research processes at Essex. This includes Research planning, monitoring and publishing, as well as Career Development for researchers.
